Range Cooker Options

Flues #

Flue options

Heritage offers the widest choice of flues available for your convenience. The Grande will work with either a conventional flue which can be connected into a chimney with a lining, a prefabricated sectional system, a fan flue, or a low level fan flue (rear flue option).

Please consult our technical team to discuss the best possible option for your installation, this can make a big difference to the way your cooker operates.

N.B. Please refer to data sheet for all options.

Oil & Electrics #

The oil pipe can be brought out either side of the Grande ready for a 1/4″ connection.

The electrics are also brought out either side with a 3 or 5 core connection. All cookers require a fused spur with a 3amp fuse locally to the cooker to allow for easy isolation.

Please see our technical datasheet for more information.

Combustion Air Vents #

A major advantage with all Heritages is found in their ducted air inlets. This makes for quiet, safe and efficient room sealed breathing – thus cutting down on draughty vents in the kitchen.

As with all of the Heritage range cookers the air pipe sizes are dictated by the size of boiler and the length of air pipe, in some cases we may recommend you increase the size and material of the duct in order to allow for resistance.

Ducts can be rigid or flexible pipes through floors, walls, lofts or roofs.
Because of external air vents, kitchen extractor fans can be fitted alongside all Heritage cookers.

(Alternatively if you find it impossible to get air pipes to an outside wall, we can offer silencer kits to reduce the noise level. You will still need an air vent into the room.)
